Welcome to the site of the 19th Annual Symposium of the Melton Foundation!

This year, the Symposium will be held in Hangzhou, China. Certainly this is an amazing country, where long history and rapid modernization meet each other, where incredibly rich culture can be found, and where your fantastic experience and treasured memory will be guaranteed.
To help you have a more thorough understanding of China and to make this symposium more enriching, we have chosen ChinaNow as the theme of the symposium this year. We will thus display every aspect of China in various forms. Particularly, we have opened a webpage called “My China Story” to post individual thoughts on Chinese daily life by all ZU fellows. We definitely welcome all community members to share their related stories about China in this way.
Symposium coordinators:
- Wei Dai (Contact Wei), and
- Qifei Zhu (Contact Qifei)
Please feel free to contact us regarding anything related to symposium.
Needless to say, nothing can be more exciting than touching the real China and have first-hand impression about China. The symposium this time is designed to be a more interactive one, and we believe this 2010 fall in China will be a memorable time for all of us.
As the Melton Day 2010 is drawing near, we dedicate this video to all of you, to show you the beauty of Hangzhou...
Welcome to China!
