Symposium

Every year, Fellows travel abroad to the Symposium hosted by one of the five participating universities. This one-week event serves as the culmination of the Junior Fellow's online interaction throughout the year and is a venue for intercultural workshops, cultural performances, visits to the host-country's cultural resources. The Symposium also involves Fellows in meetings concerning the governance of both the Melton Foundation and the wider network it supports.

This year, the 19th Annual Symposium will be held in Hangzhou, China, hosted by Zhejiang University. The theme has been chosen to be “ChinaNOW”, since we believe what happens in present China is of global interest and worth studying.
